Before I get to my own writing for the day, I need to put this out to the world at large. I’m thankful for you.
I’m thankful for every one of you whom I’ve met, known, kissed, insulted, gamed with, worked with, shared a classroom, a workspace, a bathroom or a beach with. I’m thankful for those of you whom have (whether intentionally or not) made my life harder, for there is little growth when things are easy. I’m thankful for your time – the time you have spent with me, whether that be the guy in front of me at the gas station who can’t decide if he wants a Pepsi or a Coke or the parents who have spent their time bringing me not only into this world, but being with me throughout my time here.
I give thanks for your smiles, your words, your gifts of presence in my life. I am who I am, having developed to this very second of my life at present, because of your contributions to me.
Thank you, bless you, and have a fine day.
