Forest

Forest disappeared,

And my world changed,

For the longest time, her starry eyes held me,

And as spellbound as I may have been,

The saccharine stinging of her bite,

The songs her scent could sing,

And the soothing sin with which the days of her smirks,

Ignited my nights,

Left me, leaves me here without purpose,

An empty black-and-white hollow,

Perfect on the inside.
